From what I have heard on there in bits and pieces, they are now the "NEW' Shop at Home, whatever that means....

Could have just been a marketing gimmick to clean out the warehouses...

I believe, if I understand correctly, someone else has taken over the program so the hype is here to stay.

It is too bad they survived. Although I guess some folks like a good comedy program. [:p]

Yes, it seems shop@home and the Coin Vault have a new lease on life. I don't know the details.

They are selling the gold buffs in raw and certified for huge premiums over issue price.

But they have had some specials on mint and proof sets that were remarkably reasonable compared to their past pricing.

I enjoy CV as entertainment television. I don't think I would have gotten back into collecting if I hadn't become fascinated by Robert Chambers

Here is the other thread when we thought they were closing shop.

https://goccf.com/t/5735&SearchTerms=coin,vault

There is an article farther down stating so.

I am in away amused they got another life--It is amazing the BS chambers puts out--and what amuses me the most is when they say "the phones are ringing off the hook"!!--"Hurry and order now before our limited supplies run out" Whata crock--My personnal feeling are that there are more fools on CV than Ebay--fools are in a hurry to part with their hard earn money--Unbelievable is all I can say--They should

Sad but true, Rinky and Dinky are back in all their splender. They peddle their ware on HSN or Home Shopping Network.
Their last showing had PR70 Golden Buffalo for just under $2,000 but they were only available on their show. Guess that they bought them all, so the mint must be sold out and don't know it yet.

The gold buffs are nice but at 1400 for ms-69 is even crazy the fall of the big coin market is about to come just like the card market did, I do realize the big differences between the products

They were selling proof set runs this week: 1968-1998 and 1999-2006, your choice for $558. That's high (about $100 above PCGS prices), but not absurdly so.
