i have posted this coin previously. it is a 1999P. CCF member numismo posted a similar coin also. COOP posted a very nice overlay picture. opinion was that it was a die clash. I have since found another coin with (to my eye) a similar, marking. I know thy are not identical - but similar. the first is the 1999P, the second is a 1996P. even after COOP's overlay picture I could not see the details from the obverse that caused the clash, but this second coin seems very similar. I am looking at the marking in the first bay to the right of the statue. opinions are welcomed and appreciated. thanks.

Images are too small to see what you're talking about in these images. Sorry, but I cannot help with this until I can see more detail.

i tried for over an hour, unsuccessfully, to resize these two photos. I use photobucket, and I am able to resize them on the monitor, but I can't seem to be able to save them. clearly - operator error. I will work on it some more - when I get more ambition.

Resizing the existing photo will not work.
It is already at a certain file size/resolution etc.
Try a scan of 600/1200 dpi of the area/areas in question.
Or try a close up with the camera.
