It is a bit hard to tell if there is any wear on the King's mustache, but since there appears to be no wear on the reverse, I'll just chalk it up to strike. So I'll guess that this is an MS-62 or so. Maple_Leaf New Member Canada 15 Posts	Posted 06/02/2010 12:35 am I have been struggling with these fishscales due to their small size. Hard to photograph and at my age getting hard to see them! It seems like many of them lack a strong strike. Was this a common problem with this coin? Report this Post to the Staff
Archraz Pillar of the Community United States 3499 Posts	Posted 06/02/2010 01:38 am Maple_Leaf- I have a feeling that these were pretty frequently poorly struck, especially on Edward VIII coins. Often it seems that on the dimes as well his beard is lacking most details even when it is so obviously uncirculated. So, I think that you have a pretty typical, but nice unc example here. Maple_Leaf New Member Canada 15 Posts	Posted 06/02/2010 12:19 pm All your input is making me feel much better about my own estimate. Malibu, thanks for posting your MS-64 to compare! Nic, if you want I can somehow send or include the original Photoshop file, it can be enlarged a little more due to the fact it is of higher resolution.The file size is about 1.6mb. Does anyone else have a graded 1902 they would like to put up a picture of for comparison? BTW, the camera I am using is just an old Nikon CoolPix L14, it isn't much but it is all I have right now.
