Perhaps someone can help me in my search for a gold Maple leaf. I'm looking for a particular year in a full ounce. My local dealers have the coin but not the year I'm looking for. Is there an online site or dealer that you know of that could possibly assist me? Thanks in advance - Dog.

What year are you looking for Dog Man? Maybe we could all start snooping around our local shops and find one for you in the date that you're looking for.

Everywhere I looked it was "date our choice". I guess your best bet would be ebay for a particular date.

You could also try the Royal Canadian Mint at http:// www.mint.ca

I couldn't find one listed on their site, or I'm just not looking close enough. The year I'm after is a 2003.

Let me snoop around for you. Send me an e-mail and I will e-mail you the address of someone that I trust explicitly who probably has one. I do know that he just bought a bunch of them yesterday as I was there when he did it. I could ask and post if you prefer but, I probably won't be there again until next week.

Just as a matter of interest the Mint does not sell gold maples to the public. You have to get them from a dealer or one of the banks.
