I won two Taler pieces on the Goldberg Auction today, the Salzburg being on my wish-list for some time as it is somewhat evasive.
Austria, Salzburg. Attractively toned, harder to find pieces from this ruler/era. 1735, Leopold Anton Eleutherius, Freiherr von Firmian(1727-1744) Taler, . DAV-1241; KM-329; Probszt-2145. Description: Madonna and child over arms. Reverse: Saint seated left with arms. NGC graded AU-58.
Austria, (Hall Mint). Rainbow toned classic design. Archduke Ferdinand (1564-1595) Taler, No Date. DAV-8095. Description: Crowned bust right holding sword and orb. Reverse: Crowned arms in Order chain. NGC graded AU-58.
