Canadian Quarter Struck On US Nickel Planchet

Canada made nickel planchets for US Mint in 1999 and 2000 in anticipation of issues surrounding Y2K. At least one other example known. Does anyone else have one? See pictures below. Zimmy Valued Member United States 460 Posts	Posted 06/02/2010 11:05 pm When I bought it on ebay it didn't list the weight so I figured it was either struck on a Canadian nickel planchet or foreign. When I got it, I couldn't figure out what country it was on so I sent it to an expert in the field and he identified as struck on US planchet. I got lucky on this one. Report this Post to the Staff
