So I'm curious how everyone does. I buy $25.00 boxes of cents at a time and search them. My averages are as follows:

Wheats- 7 per box
AU's- 16 per box
Foriegn- 17 per box

Is this roughly the same as everyone else does? Did not average my errors as I keep the machine doubled errors and iffy errors also. WOLF

I probably run about the same as you for Wheats, but I get nowhere near 17 foreign per $25, more like a couple per hundred. Sometimes I'll get lots of nice newer cents, and sometimes I get mostly corroded abused lincolns. I do seem to run a good amount of nice strong 70's strikes in good shape. This last $25 I got tons of LP3 2009's in AU or even a bit better. I think I got 2 canucks.

Same here......and with me too, I only find about 1 or 2 Canadians per box....even less than that for other foreign countries. And this is per $25.00 box.

i go by 10 dollars worth of rolls per bank
each 10 bucks usually hits me with about 5 wheat pennies 3-5 1937-1964 canadian cents (probably about 20 other canadian that I toss back without a second glance) and most of the AU's I toss back too. Just usually keep the best of the best looking older LMC's
Gonna get to boxes one of these days to see if my numbers stay so high, if they do I'll stay with those but right now I've been stickin with whats workin

I probably get about 2-3 Canadians per box and about 15-20 wheaties. I picked up $5 in NF String rolls at lunch and scored 7 wheats just from that, oldest being a 1936.

Not bad, that's as old as they get in terms of small cents. In about 12 boxes in the past few months here in Canada, the oldest I've found is 1932, but I did find a 1919 wheatie.

About 10-12 wheats per $25 box
7-10 Canadians
and, living out here in Cali, more than my fair share of s-mint memorials.

I've stopped saving all the copper...it took me less than 3 months to find almost $250 worth. Either I'm finding too much, or I'm roll-hunting too much.

I hardly get any wheat here in Southern California. I don't know if this is just me or anybody else. But sound like SDcoins doing well, he is Southern California too. By the way, how was the 5.9 Earth Quake last night, it shook us really good. We are according to TV news, about 20 miles from the Epicenter, but you (SDcoins) are closer, I hope you are OK.
Like my story, I bought and took all my parents Penny Jar form Pittsburgh. I found many Canadian Penny, since they are not too far from Canadian boarder. I found just one 1956 wheat. In one of the roll, the stack was wet and start stinking. I wrap it back.

It's been a while since we've done a box, but I'd say we get about one wheat for every four rolls or so. We probably get about 2 Canadian per roll.
