I am considering purchasing the Dansco "Crowns of the World" album. Does anyone else have this album? I would love to see a filled example. I am very new to world coins so can anyone recommend some affordable silver coins that are 36, 38, 39, 40, and 42mm in diameter? Do any of the Canadian, Mexican, or other 1 oz silver coins fit? Thanks in an advance.

Here is a link to the album:

I collect them from 36 to 42mm but it gets really expensive fast if you go with the silver ones. I have over 100 silver crown sized coins so far and almost as many CU ones. The album will fill up fast. I use airtites myself and 2x2 sleeves in a ring binder..

No, none of us should go broke.
It might just take us a little longer to achieve............ liquidity?

The Royal Mint alone puts out over a dozen a year for various dependencies. Prices range from around $20 to over $100 then there are the pied fort issues and the gold issues. You will learn to love Ramen Noodles..

This is the only hobby in the world that If you don't have money, -it means you always have money...
I guess anything silver that pleases your eye with a diameter of 38 - 40mm is perfect.

Like the dealer around here saying: You spend the money, you are happy and the money is still in your pocket. What you have to loose?.....................................Wait until you are hungry, you'll find out.
