fiddler First, I would suggest getting an older Krause. I never buy them new (too much money) but our local
Overstock bookstore usually gets last years or earlier copies and sells them for about $10. Used older copies at a used book store can be even cheaper. You would get a lot of info even from an old one. Prices do not change all that much.
But if you have the grades correct my Krause (2007) indicates as retail:
1932 French 1 Franc EF to Au? Alumonum Bronze $1 to $2
1941 Frenc Indochina 20 Cent EF? Copper-Nickel $2
1963,64,65 Mexican Peso MS 65 0.100 fine silver $2 - $2.50 each BU
But check the MS65 grade carefully - they are very common in 63 but 65 is harder to find. Not really much of a premium yet because the series is not really popular.
With Krause prices you can usually buy common coins for significant discounts and the best you can hope to sell for is 15% of Krause. The truely rare dates are special and you really throw away the book. Most coin collectors are just a bit fanatical when it comes to that missing date.
