Picked this up yesterday (along with a shield cent that is full of errors, will post pics of it later). This is my first Half Cent; I am interested in your opinions. Thanks! (Still working on taking pics of my coins-got a long way to go).

Awesome coin, and you don't have that_far left to go with your pics. I think I see the barest bit of wear - PCGS AU55, EAC F12.

Great looking coin, and the obverse appears to have a fair amount of remaining luster. I agree with AU-55...but EAC 12? really? I'm glad they aren't grading my coins, sheesh...;-)

Very nice and good photos!

I have yet to purchase any of the Half Cents for my 7070, but I feel inspired now.

Are you using one incandescent bulb? I'd suggest fluorescent lighting for coins, or see other threads in this forum for suggestions for building a cheap setup by using a plastic milk jug. That way you'll end up with balanced lighting and minimal shadows.

Oh, and definitely a nice coin.
