If money were no object, I'd attempt to do what Louis Eliasberg did. The thrill of the hunt would be fantastic!

I think busts would be nice. Don't make any difference whether "whole, or half".

If money were truly no problem, I'd go for a complete U.S. set.

Complete date/mintmark Morgan Set including Proofs,
all in MS60+/PR60+ grades.
( 1893-S, 1895 Proof, 1884-S and every CC, all in 60+! )

Then add some DMPL's and top VAM's in MS60+....

You could have Warren Buffett's money, and still spend years
working on this set (oh, and the inevitable 'upgrades'!).....

Also, a complete 1857 U.S. coin set: from Half-Cent, to all Gold coins
from each of the Mints!

I would continue to collect what I already collect. Just more of it.

I like the bust halves too. I also like the Morgans, and the SAE's, and the Franklins, thats my problem. Everytime I turn around, I see something else I like. Don't even get me started on the gold coins.

I was actually playing with this last night... Had I a $20k budget, I'd buy a few rhodium, a couple of 1/10 oz Liberty platinums, a couple of '07 no motto gold $2.50's, and two xf/au 1876 cc series.

Had I $200k, I'd go for a nearly complete decent, full US Set.
Had I $2M, I'd get a nice, complete US set.
Had I $20M, I'd go for the ultimate US set.

Now... where was that dollar bill I'd set aside for the lottery?...

Bust gold. Early quarter and half eagles as well as Bust Eagles. The Heraldic Eagle reverse is one of my favorites.
