I'm trying to make sense of the chart in the link below as to the runs etc. Any Idea How unique this is based on the run? Also Does this qualify as a birthday note? September 5, 1973?
It's out of a run of a million, which seems to be normal. However if you can afford to keep it, you should. The new $100s are coming out next year and it's good to hold onto an UNC specimen, especially if it's a star note.
Looks clean to me as there are no bill counter roller marks. The smudge on the nose COULD have rubbed off on the note prior. I have seen it with UNC $1's. Is there a smudge on the right above the 100 on the obverse?
For a "true bday" note I think it would have to be 0905 1973 or 1973 0905.
As long as you are happy hang on to it as I have not seen any in this codition at face value. Also there was only one run for 2006 HF * and it did not go as high as 3.2 mil.
