As I approach pillar status, I thought I should run a contest, but I'm struggling identifying one. So I thought, Hey, that's the contest. Give me a good idea for a contest.
Change of plans (no entries, so no harm)
Here it is:
Guess the Total number of Hits, Runs, RBIs and Home Runs, Joe Mauer of the Twins will have at the All-Star Break (July 13th), for his career. I will add the 4 categories together to arrive at one number. So submit one number which represents the sum of the 4 categories.
* Contest entries end on June 20th, 10:00 pm, forum time.
* One entry per member (50 post minimum).
* The person closest to the actual number will win, you can be over the number.
* The winner will receive a nice gift. (1978 P-D Mint Set)

Even though I thought I came up with a new idea, (i.e. I didn't have an idea and would let others decided, that was my idea), it turned out to be already taken, as you pointed out. That's how bad I'm struggling. It's kinda like a Seinfeld joke....I know lame....
So bring them on.

Wow thats weird I won the other contest about a new idea for a contest, so il try my winning idea out again.w abwe all have to try and guess the last coin you have acquired in your collection?
