As I continue to stand by to be shipped out. I am slowly going through the boxes of unsorted coins I have.
I came across this today. Again I have no idea when or where I got it.

Is it a clipped planchet?
the area inside the missing section is plated.

Could anyone also give me a ballpark value?

Looks like it to me from the presence of the Blakesley Effect. Nice find!

Can't tell if its copper the weight difference would be offset by the missing bit... but just for giggles put it on the scale. 2.6 grams
