2007 Nickel - Is This A Weak Strike Or ?

Bought this box of nickels in 2007. The article in the RCNA about plating sparked my interest and I decided to open a few rolls...

This was in the 8th roll.. Only the D in D G REGINA looks normal and the I is almost non existent..

There is no evidence of grinding marks etc.. Is this a deteriorating die..

The rest looks fairly pronounced. I wonder ... Struck Through Grease? It's just that the letters vary so much that I'm not inclined to go weak strike right away.

Random weakness of devices is typically attributable to being struck through grease/clogged die.
