How scarce are the 1988 & 1988 D rdv varieties. I've gone through about 100 boxes of cents without finding one. There isn't much mention of them in this forum either. By the way, in those boxes I've found other goodies such as a 1983 DDR and lots of wams including a 1999. Still looking for the rdv.

Check out the RDV 006 Group at the Lincoln Cent Resource.

Ask Brefos if he has any info on amounts, scarcity etc.

I'm a member and I've found a total of 4 1988P RDV 006's ( die's 2 & 4) but the real scarce one is the 88D- that one will sell for hundreds of bucks if and when one even comes up for sale.

The 1988P's are much more easier to find and don't command no where need the premium of a 88D. They go for well under a hundred dollars.

Good luck in your search and hope this helps.

Chuck.

I look through about 4 boxes a week for the last 15 months and look at every 1988 for the RDV6. I have found two. Both die 4. Just for comparison, at the same time have have found 6 1999 wide A M's. They are fairly scarce around here. Around here they are alot more scarce than the 99 WAMs.
