Coin show...I actually had fun. Quite a few nice people, and kind of a buzz throughout the room. Overwhelming in a good way.

Stamp show...Like walking around a library. and slightly more exciting than a funeral parlor. talked to some nice people and dealers. Nothing spoke out to me making me want to collect stamps. Overwhelming in an ugh sort of way.

To each his/her own...but this is a weird feeling for me...Something that I don't want to collect...weird...really weird.

I have never been to a stamp show, but I don't really get into stamps too much. I have collected some old stamps and some first day covers of topics/people that interest me, but overall, I am with you and kind of find it...blah....I am not sure why because I like the history and all but I guess to me coins circulate more and have more stories to tell and a richer history than a stamp (in my opinion)...who knows really, it just never grabbed me.
