My next door neighbor served 2 years in Iraq and I told him I would check to see if any of these coins were worth anything feom what he said is that only Generals gave these out ,he also had a stack of Iraq bills with the original band on the stack, so here they are ,

I'm in the air force and I get coins and buy them on base. I would say they have little to no value. I would tell your neighbor to keep them and give to his kids. The active duty guys that display challange coins are the coins they got along the way. Don't get me wrong, they are cool but his story of how me hot them is what makes them cool.

Afclassic he has no intentions to sell them he was a refuel unit for the 2 years and boy I have heard some story's from his deployment ,he has a hunk of marble from Saddam's palace some neat stuff for sure
