1968 S Mint Nicklel Error?

I have a of 1968 S. mint nickels and was comparing it to another 1968 S. mint nickel and I noticed that on one of the nickels the S. is a lot closer to jeffersons ponytail and is slightly rotated clockwise so that the bottom left had side of the S is almost touching the ponytail, is this a error or am I jus getting to technical?

Mintmarks were added to each die individually by hand bak then. Exact positioning of the mintmark does not add any value to the resulting coins.
