It's a blunt 5. We also don't know if it's large beads or small beads because we need
to see the obverse to make that call. I've been through a few thousand of these lately,
and have seen 5's that are almost square, to 5's that have a decent slant/point to them,
to 5's that sort of bulge at the end. All are blunt. Forget about what the end of the 5
looks like, and whether or not it's slanted. The Charlton picture of the pointed 5 is not
great. When I'm done searching through all of my 1965's, I'll probably start a thread
that will show the variations, because this is one of the most wrongly diagnosed varieties,
and the topic comes up a lot. Here is a scan I took of the PT5, notice in particular the
length of the point, and how close it is to the maple twig.
