I was going though my franlins and I was thinking is there any VAM ?or something,I know about the 55 bunny tooth the type 1& 2 but is there any more or a web site this is the 06 coin.

Hello amac44,

Ironically, I was going through my Franklins last night and do have a couple of the "Bugs Bunny" 1955 Franklins. I questioned a seller on ebay on the very subject and he stated, "the only error (?) he was aware of was Bugs Bunny and the type 1 and type 2 on the reverse of 1956 Franklin Proof. I will be interested to hear some of the comments from the older coin heads on this forum.

I was change out set to a new book and found that my 55 was also bug bunny and it bu/unc that what made me post this!

There are also a couple of Doubled Dies and a few OMM's in the Franklin series .

I know this is splitting hairs, but the term " VAM" only describes Morgan and Peace dollar die varieties as defined by Van Allen and Mallis.

Leroy Van Allen has to be getting some real satisfaction at seeing his name become a generic term in numismatics.

I think all the good buffalos are gone not, that coin the fair ptices!

Bryan1315, The Founding Father coin is beautiful. Many of the
modern commemoratives have the eyes struck that are fantastic.
Dolly Madison is a case, in point in addition to Big Bad Ben...
