Hi, it is claimed to be ex mount, but it looks suspect to me from the picture(Fake, Dipped, wizzed, treated,? or maybe just the picture quality?), could you please help me to grade this coin.

As you say it could just be the picture, but I don't like the looks of this coin. IMO it's a cast copy.

Yup, I agree, but that said, this is on offer from a very reputable international dealer, and I doubt very much if they will sell a fake.

Looks cast or made by a different method, but not real. The field looks wavy.

Even attributing the double shaft on the wagon would be difficult in that condition. The wording on the 5 shillings almost looks double struck, especially at the G and S at the end of 'shillings'. If it is real it has been very harshly treated - too risky a purchase i'd say.

Always a shame when you get a potentially rare coin like that and I can see the temptaion. I've had a couple very nice examples of the more common single shaft 1892 5 Shillings, but not a double shaft yet
