It's a gorgeous coin but I'm not very experienced with SLQ's. I bought it to go into my Type Set. Grading help would be greatly appreciated. I can't find a thing wrong with it. johnny54321 Rest in Peace United States 4849 Posts	Posted 06/28/2010 5:57 pm It's a very nice looking coin. The only "concern" for me is that it has most likely been dipped. 100 year old silver coins are very rarely this white. Now, that doesn't necessarily make it a problem coin, since there are many dipped coins that make it into problem free slabs as long as the luster isn't impaired. To me, it looks MS-63 or so, maybe 64. It's hard to tell if there is any wear, or areas where the luster has been rubbed; but it would go AU-58 at worst imho if there is "rub" that I'm not seeing in the photo. When you get the coin, I'd love to see a close-up of what is going on along the stars on the left edge of the reverse. There is some more of the same on the right edge of the reverse.
