In. They have to be satin, or we should have heard by now.

The full year 2010 Uncirculated Set is indeed Satin Finish, not the business strikes. We can only hope that it will end for next year now.
The Satins "do" look different, and should warrant a separation.
They can have a place in your Dansco still though. All you have to do is buy an "extra page" from Dansco, and then you can include BU Business Strikes, Satin Finish, Proof, and Silver Proof in the album !

The business strikes in really high MS grades will most assuredly be more valuable than the Satin Finish ones. Largely in part to the scarcity of finding high grade business strikes. In many cases those will even be more valuable than their Proof counterparts ! This has been the case with the State Quarters, and will even grow more that direction with lower mintage numbers of the Parks Qtrs. comparitively.
Of course, it can get expensive sending off quarters to be graded....." I " wouldn't do it........nor will I buy any slabbed ones so.....for me that doesn't matter......

By the way...... the U.S. Mint "will" be selling business strike "Sets" of the Parks Qtrs. (one person even said "it's tailor made for your Dansco album !)
You'll be able to buy a 3- coin Set of each one .....Uncirc. biz. strike P....uncirc. biz. strike D.....and a Proof.
They'll also have two other Sets like this with more biz. strike coins in them....it's discussed here on the forum in another thread.

And, though there's no picture.....you can find it in detail on the Mints website right here.

It makes more cents for me, to wait until the full year Proof set comes out. That way I can get all the other Proof coins that come out for the year..."and" my Proof Parks Qtrs. will be "included" in there....I won't have to buy it in a separate Proof Set like you did.
And since I'll also need the Silver Half, Silver Dime, and the 5 Silver Parks Qtrs., I'll also wait until the full years Silver Proof Set comes out to buy these too. (this will give me a few duplicates...but I can trade those) this way I won't have to buy the Silver Parks Qtr. Set seperately either......this will cut down on "dupes" for me and be more cost effective.

I have (2) coming under subscription, higher price this year over last year, with fewer coins in the set. I need to bust one for a couple of projects, I will just have to live with the satin finish, not that it isn't nice looking, I just feel that Mint Sets should be premium examples of circulating coinage. For those who desire the pretty coins, that is why Proof Sets are made.

I told myself that I would not buy these sets, but the increasing difficulty of finding new coins in change has me considering it.
