Hi.I couldn't find any answer on ebay for this question.I'm fed up with paypal charges.Instead I could have free postage policy.I received from buyer 105 GBP (with delivery charges) and paypay charged me 4.30 GBP in commission-so where is the point that I don't have to use paypal anymore?100 auctions?I don't know.Any help welcome.

Macmercury is right, they were designed to have dual charges.
You may add in your postings that you do not accept Paypal, your buyers will resort to payment via credit cards or any other alternative means...
But you will also have to weigh-in that majority of ebay buyers prefer Paypal...your percentage of selling the coin will be affected.
An additional 12% markup in the cost of your coin is safe enough to handle their fees and break-even. But this is only possible to do on a "buy it now" situations.
I guess this is a perfect example of a monopoly in being the first in business. We can't do anything about it, it's their game-fields with their own set of rules.

valdiman,

Is free domestic shipping promotional or permanent? I was reading their site and didn't see where it say that.
Thanks

the way I understand the thing about ebay is if you sell on there, you have to accept paypal.I think some other countries told them they couldn't do that with people from their country but in the US we have to accept paypal and pay ebay and paypal fees if we want to sell on their venue

Is not ebay policy-is an option I can use as a seller in my auctions.Describe method of payments and give buyer a choice-pay with paypal and pay for delivery or pay with moneybookers and pay item value only.Still working on itThanks guys.
