Wow, I didn't even notice that. You have good eyes for this! I put it under a scope and noticed a few more things now that you mentioned it. The bottom of the 9 is flat and seems to be made this way. The bottom of the 5 could be a dent or could be made this way. Right below the date there are little Cuds up against the rim and there is a die crack from the top of the F to the rim. thanks for looking so carefully. As I mentioned before I know nothing about canadian five cents, except that they look cool.

Does anyone else know if the flat spots on the bottom of the 9 and 5 are unusual. thanks
