I am thinking 1927. I am not seeing enough evidence to indicate that a '9' dipped down below the bottom of the '2'.

Looks to me, you can see the curve of the "9"

I'll say it's a '29

And I say it's time for another closeup photo with light slanting across the numerals. Maybe more than one. When I looked at it today, it actually looked like a "2"!

To me it only looks like a '2' because I want it to be a '2'.

So, after the three hours plus since my last examination, I now find that I am seeing what could be an '8'!

After playing with the pic, its definitely a 1929, it shows up much better after adjusting the satuation and color to set the image off from the faded number.

I think you are right, but after doing all that I now see a '3'. That's right, a '3'. I officially give up!

Today it looks like a '27.

Tomorrow, after certain holiday libations, it'll probably look like a 727 going in for a crash landing ... I'll let you know.

It's old, and it's a 192something. I'd go w/ 1929.

When I lower my head so my screen is above me, I can actually make out the loop of the 9. I believe it's a 29
