I look in the RedBook and do not see any listings for the green box proof sets from 1994-1998, is there any premium on these sets? Supposedly some folks say the coins in those sets are pretty valuable but I don't know if thats true or not. So what is the opinion amongst our experts. I just bought a 1994, 1995, and 1996 green box proof set lot for $30 and have a feeling I may have overpaid. They are all original with the original COA's. Thanks for the help everyone!!

No, you didn't "overpay", and no, there's nothing particularly "special" about them.

Numismedia puts the value of the lot at $51, with the '95 being the biggie at $25. The lowest prices I found online in a quick check put the lot at $41 with the '95 being the biggie at $20.

Enjoy your good fortune!

And to think just a few years ago they were running around $100 apiece. (Makes you wonder about the 1999 and 2001 sets.)
