I recently purchased a couple of scales and had been looking for calibration weights for the both of them. I did find a 100g for a low price of $3.24 and FREE shipping. I thought that was a good deal so I thought I would mention it here:

I'm still looking for an inexpensive 500g

Bummer, whatever that auction was, it's gone now. If anyone finds a 500g for $7 with shipping included LMK. Thanks

I'm scratching my head here.

If you have a 100g weight, what is the point of having a 500g weight?

Are your scales strain-gauge type or spring loaded?

best to use calibration weight, near your measuring weight range of interest (i.e. coin weights usually are below 50grams) as strain gauges, sensors for digital weighing, have a short linear graph ratio.

If your planning to weigh one coin at a time, 500 grams is much too far a calibration point for your application. 50grams is just right & 100 grams will also be ok. More so if it turns out your using a spring loaded weigher
