I say from now on, new rule. Instead of "pics or didn't happen", we adopt "share or it didn't happen"! That seems like it work out better for most of us who get squat most of the time.

Awesome find! Thanks for the pics, its so beautiful to see all those silver quarters and dimes when we're used to seeing silvers halves!( not that silver halves are bad by any means, but its just different!) Congrats on a wonderful rare find!!

Congrats, Fantastic find! Right place at the right time, just like when I scored 17 Morgans for a $1.00 each at a TD bank from a customer when the coin counting machine jammed because of the Morgans etc. I just happened to be at the right place at the time.

Excellent find! I hope to have that kind of luck some day! I am going to focus mostly on Dimes and nickels I think.
Chuck. Wow, just.....wow. Way to be on the look out!! That is probably the best find I have read yet!
I can not, for the life of me, figure out why someone would want to dump silver dollars into a coin machine. LOL

I get very excited when I find 1 silver dime in a roll (which only happens about every month or so.) I can't imagine what you have there. I'd probably have a coronary.

The coins were in regular paper wrappers. Some of the wrappers of looked a little older. And the were dramatically heavier in because they were bunndled in a $100 and they felt heavier. I put them in the plastic rolls so I can see what's inside and plus I feel when I see those shiny silver edges I appricate what I have. I didn't find and key dates on the quarters but I did find a merc dime that only had 1.5 million minted that was in good condition (it was from the 1930's I believe). The day I found the coins I had to pinch myself a few times to make sure I wasn't dreaming because I have dreamed of finding stuff like this before.

I think it was the 1931 s merc. I plan just to keep them for the time being. I haven't sold any of the silver I have found. Until silver goes really high I don't know if I will sell. With the market in the state that it's in do you think silver will go up and what do you think the peck will be at? I think will the market sliding in the past few weeks I think gold/silver will go up.

i guess it depends on your coin fever... I would hold on as well until it peaked a little more. but, you can always cash out early and get a nice coin!
