So I went to the bank today to do the usual coin pick up of halves and saw that they had a bunch of customer coin rolls wrapped to the side so I said " I'll take those as well.". To make a long story short, I didn't get anything in halves but out of the other rolls I bought which was $335 I got:
$280 in silver quarters
$55 in silver dimes

Not bad for a days work.

Hmmmmm.
I am going to be the voice of reason here:

Pics or it didn't happen.

The likelihood of such a find is small. Not one clad coin? Your teller had 11 rolls of dimes and 28 rolls of quarters in her drawer? You seem to have a track record of unbelievable finds.

it could happen I suppose
I got full rolls of wheat pennies with dates labeled on the rolls from a bank
the teller told me when I went back for all of the rest of the rolls they had like that that an old couple brings the coins in and that they also bring in full rolls of silver that they usually take home. They go to that bank about once a month here lol
unlikely but hey you never know

Sounds like an incredible find!

It is conceivable that someone cashed in an inherited or stolen stash of coins. CoinMania was just lucky enough to be in the right place, at the right time.

Of course, pictures will silence the naysayers.

Paul: I seem to have a track record of unreasonable finds? First of I don't post everything I get on a daily baisis. When I do post it's usually if I find something great or get a substantial amount of something. I did get I 1955 Canada quarter, 3 clad quarters and 6 clad dimes.

I just looked back at all of your posts. I do not see anything "extraordinary" that suggests a track record that is unreasonable when compared to other members' finds. This find is probably the most significant, but it is hardly typical of what you have posted in the past. That is, you are not finding an incredible and unbelievable treasure every day.

Maybe I missed something that he saw, but I have no reason to doubt you at this time. I also found that you do post a lot of photos and I thank you for posting these.

Thanks 3/5 of the quarters were from the 1950-1960's and there was 5 dateless Standing Liberty quarters and for the dimes I didn't go through the Rosevelt dates though there was a lot of BU but there was a rolls worth of merc dimes (mixed dates up to 1926). This has been my biggest find so far. Around 5 years ago I found $145 face in silver (120 quarters 25 dimes).
