Well I did tell you all about this before but never reported on what I found. My daughters father in law passed away some time ago he had a BIG jug he emptied his pennies in every day for years. When he died my son in law said they were going to dump the pennies at the bank and asked if I wanted them. I said yes and counted them and sorted by bulk years al 60,70,80.

Well I was disappointed there were no wheat pennies but about $110.00 in cents from the 1960 to low 80. What surprised me is the quality of allot of these cents look almost un-circulated guess he got them the years they were issued in change and then say in this jug for the last 40 years.

I am now slowly when I feel like it sorting them in rolls of years will take quite some time but as stated most are like new real nice and so many red toned pennies also.

I hope your checking these for errors and varieties. If not how about rolling them in rolls and selling them to CCF members as "unsearched"?

No going blind now just trying to roll them by years.

Yes, you do want to check for varieties and errors, Bruce. Just off the top of my head, the '70-S and the '72 come to mind, as realistic, findable varieties. I'd probably have done the same thing you're doing, had I been similarly-situated, and had the time. One just can't pass an opportunity like this up. Have fun!
