I think I see some slight obverse rub on the top laurel leaves, the cheek, and the neck and a little on the reverse in the circle around the shield. Looks like the luster is very nice. It's a very pretty coin. I think this coin is AU. Report this Post to the Staff
swamperbob Pillar of the Community United States 5362 Posts	Posted 07/25/2006 6:05 pm I would second Susan's attempt at grading AU is most likely - the coin is a copper-nickel alloy so wear is not as obvious as on softer surfaced coins. It also appears that either the die was late state or the strike was slightly weak. Report this Post to the Staff
