My latest interest is collecting coin weights, and these are my latest additions.
Does anybody know about any literature about them? Doesn't have to be in English.
Or just a tip where to get more information on coin weights, especially on non-English ones.

Walter Breen's "Complete Encyclopedia of US and Colonial Coins" has a section in the beginning of the book on weights, but it's a big book to leave next to the computer and it did not include most dollar varieties. I also check on Van Allen and Mallis' "Encyclopedia of Morgans and Peace dollars, but the quick search didn't reveal much. The reading is enjoyable, but I believe Nic is correct in saying Goggle-ing is probably the fastest way.

When you have finished with coin weights you might be interested in ashanti gold weights, They are really fascinating. I collected a few while I was working in Ghana in the early 90's.

You can find some images here
