Here's a weird one. Based on the presence of the "gunk", I assume this is some kind of post-mint joke. But, I wanted to get "before" pics and opinions before I attempt to soak it and see if the anomaly comes off.

If this is a glue job, I find it strange that they would glue another small piece of the memorial perfectly symmetrical at the bottom just above the "T" in CENT.

Two Lincolns were glued together, that is the remaining glue that has the partial impression of the other coin.

LOL! Nothing! I just lifted the clump of glue up with my fingernail. I figured the "gunk" had something to do with it, but wanted to be sure. Bio was right on!
