Check out this twoonie. The obverse edge has a lip, and reverse side letters are messed up! What do you guys think about it? let me know, thanks.

scan does not show the lip like I thought it would. But this aint no normal twoonie, trust me. Wear on Obverse- bottom of canada(all letters) would not wear out this quickly from 1996.(also on "ARS" of Dollars)You would literally have to sit for months constantly rubbing a coin to get it to look like this. My thought it was sitting in cash registers more so than being passed through hands, besides coins spend atleast 40-50 percent of their lives in pockets. Thats how I look at it anyway, and think some of these things on the coin are mint damage. The lip is for sure. If you rub your thumb along a twoonie, it should not catch on the ends or sides. your thumb should slide across it effortlessly, not bring up on each side.(i still scream mint damage?) I scream mint damage because the other side should be the same wear, or just about, right?Reverse has no signs of wear like this.

The ring was caused by a rolling machine, and if any toonie is going to be worn, it would be a 1996. Sometimes coins wear more on one side than the other. I'm not a toonie expert, but I don't see any mint damage, it's wear and PMD.
