See my earlier topic named "My customer; ebay Shyster". The same guy is winning 2 more nickels from me! I've only got about an hour to cancel his bids (before the listing gets inside of 24 hours til close) if that is what I decide to do.

Should I...?

Geepers ..... I'm stepping over land mines with this reply ..... but .... here goes .... my humble opinion ....

You are not expected to police the world. So give up on that goal IMHO.

Your coin auctions are clear and I acknowledge your effort to educate and inform potential buyers about the nature of your coins being 'restored'.

Whats bugging all of us is the shyster that is flipping your coins on the same E-Pray forum as better than they are ....... and I agree that should bother all of us.

But ..... suppose that same shyster sold them through Craigslist .... or at his local coin club meeting ..... or any other of the thousands of ways to sell things today ....... soooooo ...

What can you do about that?

I suggest that you continue to sell your coins in the same honest way you have ...... and if any of us see them misrepresented in a public forum that we own a responsibility to inform the involved parties of the problem.

Not much help ..... but that's my views.

Scubu: Done. Cancelled his bids and added him to my blocked bidder list. But here's a potential problem I hope you comment on: He has NOT given me feedback for that lst nickel he bought from me...so he can still neg me on THAT one, right? What do I do about that?

Given the circumstances, I think with a good explanation, they would remove it.

Nickelsearcher - No worries. No land mines here. Just a community of folks who get a little outraged when stuff like this happens. I think we all see the great potential ebay offers to collectors and we all tend to rail against those that ruin it for so many.
