I think this is Indian, but I can't find it anywhere on the internet. does anyone have any idea what it might be?

Hello and welcome to the forum I believe we can help.

It's not a coin. It belongs to a class of objects known as "temple tokens". They are basically religious amulets, and all the major religions of India seem to issue them. This one is Hindu, with Rama seated with attendants on one side and the monkey-headed Hanuman on the other.

This exact same type, though with slightly different lettering on the reverse, can be seen here on zeno.ru.

thanks, that was fast. I'm not really sure that's great news, but I'm more interested in history than monetary value. I can't find how old it is, exactly, but I choose to believe it's really old

This definitely is a temple token from India popularly known as "Ramatanka". Main provenance of this is state of Uthar Pradesh in India.
