Hello and welcome to the forum I believe we can help.
It's not a coin. It belongs to a class of objects known as "temple tokens". They are basically religious amulets, and all the major religions of India seem to issue them. This one is Hindu, with Rama seated with attendants on one side and the monkey-headed Hanuman on the other.
This exact same type, though with slightly different lettering on the reverse, can be seen here on zeno.ru.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
thanks, that was fast. I'm not really sure that's great news, but I'm more interested in history than monetary value. I can't find how old it is, exactly, but I choose to believe it's really old
