1928 Wheat Penny Error Coin?

I was going through my penny rolls I get from the banks and I came across a 1928 Wheat penny in one, I was excited because wheat's are what I collect the most, but when I analyzed it it looks as if the uppercase L in Liberty is lowercase, is this a known error?

It's most likely just damage from an old counting machine or just years of wear and tear. Pics always help, though!
