Hey I'm intersted in a coin on ebay but I cant tell the grade myself. I have been collecting canadain coins for like 14 years but I only usually buy slabbed or coins made by the RC Mint.
I was wondering If I ould get your opinions, thanks.

I don't see enough detail in either the King's hair or the beaver's fur to call the coin VF. I would call it VG or maybe F though it is a bit hard to tell from the picture.

F-VF, or F-15- there is some detail in the hair on the head, but the sections over the ear are joined together. The wear on the beaver also seems to support this grade.

Hi all, I've asked this question in another thread, but I see several knowledgable graders here who may be able to help...
I'm looking for any reference books on grading canadian coins, with no luck so far. Specifically, the
Canadian version of the ANA Grading Standards for US coins, or Photograde for US coins.
Any help will be appreciated...

Dennis
