Anything special? (UPDATED PICTURES)I don't know much about these coins, I am usually into Lincolns but my grandmother passed these and a bunch of liberty walking's down to me along with a couple Buffalo nickels. any input would help, thanks :)   Edited by Savannah04 07/22/2010 7:19 pm

I can't even read the date on the coin with these pictures, so if you could get some better images up I'm sure people would love to see your new coin! The 1908d is a fairly common date Barber half, but yours looks nicely toned and if there's anything left of Liberty on the headdress, it's probably around a 30-40 dollar coin.
PS: Try taking pictures with the camera further away from the coin, and don't hold the coin in your hand, set it on a solid surface.

Will take more pictures tomorrow in daylight against a hard flat surface, and no the liberty is not visable but most of the E PLURIBUS UNUM is.

Grade would be G. Common date and worth about $10-$15. Looks like the rim on the reverse is worn down to the field at about 9:00. For better than G you have to have some letters of "Liberty" showing and a full rim. My $.02

Savannah: Yes, Liberty was on the headband. Yours is worn off, still a Good-4.

Nice, My grandmother passed it down to me and it is my oldest coin acquired (not purchased.)
