I guess there are different reasons why some slab coins. This coin was giving to me free with another coin purchase. It does have some nice multi-color toning mainly on the reverse. Perhaps that's why it was slabbed Anyway, it has a home in my collection

That does seem to be an odd one to get slabbed. It looks like it might be struck-through on the 7. What was the grade? I'm guessing MS-70 :)

Well darn, I guess I can't trick you into giving out the grade early.

Given the number of scratches, there is more detail in the hair than I'd expect. I'd say EF-40.
