PCGS Gold Dollar And The Gold And Silver Pawn Shop

mattbrowning7 Valued Member United States 321 Posts	Posted 07/20/2010 10:18 pm I was in Las Vegas this weekend and went to the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop. It was cool to actually see it in person but its a lot smaller than you might think. I went to their coin section and it was MUCH smaller than I thought. They had like 10 gold coins and 3 Peace dollars. Anyways they had a gold dollar certified by PCGS that read "AU 50 Mount Removed" At first I thought ex-jewelry but they wouldnt have graded it. The skiing is fabulous in the winter, usually 18" of powder atop a 3 foot packed base. I have heard of the gold coin hoard, but have never seen an actual specimen.
