I mentioned this album when some of us were talking about "subsets." This custom set is all the Copper LMCs in a blank Dansco. I'm using the extra space on the second page to put the "Transition Years." I have the last LMC, the Centennial Cents, and the first LSC. The only holes are the 2010 coins and the 2008 proof (which are all on order).

By the way, the 1968-S is a nice rotated die (about 12 or 15 degrees).

This was a nice, quick set to assemble in good condition, and it really shows the color difference from the 2009 coppers and the zincolns.

The labels in the photos below are in photoshop, not on the actual album. I'm considering experimenting with some labels later on.

Very cool. I see you did the large and small dates for 1960, so are you going to do the same thing for 1970-S, and 1982?

Well, the 1970-S would have significantly increased the cost of the set. I considered the 1982 varieties for a while. There are only 3 copper varieties: 82-large, 82-small, 82D. I did leave out the 1982 large date (the one in the album is small date) and I'm embarrassed to say that the only reason I left it out is because it would mean everything wouldn't neatly fit on 2 pages like it does now.

Nice job on the set, and the photoshop thing sure fooled me. I had to read the post twice because I was gonna ask you what you used to label everything. Post a few pics when you do get it labeled please. I have a Dollar book that is gonna need to be done.

Very nice!

I really appreciate seeing someone make a custom Dansco album like this. It helps me justify my customizations.

For the record, I have not labeled any of mine. This is not to say that it cannot be done or that you should not do it, only that there is at least one person that is okay with not doing it.

Yeah, could have doubled the cost, possibly...

I like the logic of fitting it on two pages.

Very nice set indeed. I am working on the same set as well. Mine is in 2x2's fit into pocket pages. I have/will included the small date and large date of the 60P, 60D, 70S, 74P, 74D, 74S, 82P, and 82D. The whole set takes a bit over 5 1/2 pages, but once omplete, should be nice.

I do not want to hijack this thread. I just want to show the first page og my collection, so folks can see the different ways to display their collection. I need to get some new sheets because the scratches in the ones I have make the coins look flawed.

Nice album specksynder! Thanks for sharing.

I have recently ordered the supplies to create my own custom Dansco and have a local printer set up. He's a guy I do business with and all I have to do is supply him with the initial artwork.

I'm really interested in seeing how yours turns out. Maybe labeling is the way to go and save some money. On the other hand, if the Dansco turns out the way I think it will, I think there is a chance some members here would want one. Since I would have already payed for the artwork, it would just be a matter of more supplies and some ink.

I'm going to wait and see how yours turns out before I proceed. But, if I do go with my first plans, you guys will be the first to see!
