I don't have a scanner, so the best I can do is give the serial numbers for what I have. I believe they are U.S. issues from around W.W.II. 1) Series 481/D03486414D/16/05 2) Series 481/D02603275D/74/25 3) Series 481/D04902876D/25/10 Any info on them would be appreciated. zeewool Pillar of the Community 3660 Posts	Posted 07/23/2010 6:25 pm Series 481 were printed in four issues beginning in 1951. All issues were withdrawn from service in 1954. They were issued in denominations ranging from five cents through ten dollars. Serial numbers won't tell much of a story, but what denominations are yours? Report this Post to the Staff
wd1040 Pillar of the Community United States 3098 Posts	Posted 07/23/2010 6:36 pm Those are nicks, dimes and quarters. (He has .05, .10 and .25 at the end of the numbers. Took me a while to find, too!) These are quite common, as they were issued during Korea and a lot of veterans brought them back. Interestingly, there are however, 4 different issues and versions of these, and that would depend on the location of the ~~block numbers~~. Sorry, plate position numbers. I posted all the numbers that I could find, except for numbers that were in the upper left hand corner. The .25 has 74, the .10 has 25, and the .05 has 16. Is that what you were asking for? Your notes all all from the first printing, according to the serials, printed by Tudor Press in Boston, MA.
