Hello, all! I just received what I've been told is a "weak 5" 2005 S (proof) Lincoln Memorial cent.

I haven't been able to find any information about this variety, and I've no idea where to look. Any ideas?

Edit: As requested, the now infamous (to me) 2005 "Weak 5" Proof

Here is a straight-on of the obverse. Not much to see:

Here is an angled view of the same coin, showing the "Weak 5", and perhaps some of the 0 next to it (no, that's not just strange lighting or a shadow or a dark reflection, it's a significantly, 50%+ less pronounced strike on the 5):

And here is a zoomed, color-enhanced field of the same photograph above, just of "2005":

It's a stretch, tough to see, but it is odd and not quite right.

Now, does anybody know where to find information on this strange thing? Thank you!

Hehehe, if necessary, sure, I'll go down and try to get one. Basically, there's a halo around "200" and not around "5"... it's pretty hard to see. Was just looking for general information; perhaps a Lincoln memorial variety/error site.

But why not! I haven't been to the photographic dungeon for some time. A proof cent should be fun to try!

Do the proofs have the same problems with grease-filled dies as the business strikes do?
