Peace dollars have always struck me as being rather tough to grade due to their weak strikes. I am not sure if my 1926 S is a VF of an EF. What do you think?

I think it just makes VF-30.

Thanks, echizento! It is amazing just how the weak lettering on the reverse and the overall "washed-out" appearance still allows this coin to be a better VF.

My guess would be a high VF.

I'd go with VF-25. Too many contact marks on the obverse for me to justify 30.
