Heres a couple of mine.These 2 have been soaking in olive oil for over a year and a half,with 3 or 4 brushes in that time.
The coin on the left is ready for picking,I'd be real careful if I was going to brush it again,I doubt I would,a lot of care and patience is needed at this stage.
The coin on the right is becoming a bit of a problem,the surface seems pitted and uneven so some of the patina is coming of easily,you can't really see it in the scans but I can see it through magnification.I'll start picking a bit at it and see what I can lift,then I guess I'll tackle the stubborn parts,any ideas would be appreciated.But for now they go of for a nice bath for another 4 months or so.
I threw in a new batch about the same time Verm did a batch 3 or so months ago,but after having a look tonight,not much has happened.I gave them a little brush then popped them back in their bath for awhile,I'll see what happens then.
