It would help to see the other side. I am going o guess European 1820-1840's George IV of England, not French, possibly German or Italian States.

Really hard to tell.
Could be an English penny or a French Colonial coin with Charles X... or something completely different.
What is the size of it and what does the other side look like?

The back is blank and it has gnarling all around the edges. The coin is about the size of a susan b anthony.

It looks like a blacksmith token, the same wear and look
But I can't find the right bust in my book
Referring to the charlton standard of canadian colonial tokens
