Just sharing... Yesterday was fantastic! And awful. : (

So yesterday I headed to the monthly Anaheim coin show and although I didn't quite stay within my self-imposed spending limit, I managed to complete all my Lincoln wheat set (not for grade, just for being complete) outside the big five or six keys.

It's a cool feeling! Wonderful! I'll be quite some time before I can come up with the remaining $2-5000 required for the keys, so I considered it a great milestone!

So la-dee-dah-dee-dah, having a great day and I got home to realize I'd completely forgotten to up my bid on an S-190 DBLC, and I missed it by $3. I was the next-to-highest bidder and I'd planned to up my bid by at least $15 to be sure I got it - and forgot because I was so caught up in my Lincolns and everything else going on yesterday.

: ( Oh yes, there will be others, but there was something about this one and it was (it seemed to me) a GREAT buy.

Aw, crud. The good news is I certainly didn't need to spend the money after my spree at Anaheim!
Rest in Peace

lol... yes, Bill... another day...

Ah, pictures! Holy mackeral! Alright, I'll get to work on that, but I don't think today... =) I hope you don't need to see each coin individually, that might take me longer than it took me to collect and organize them! Tee hee hee... I haven't self-graded any of them yet, I think that (and getting them into my excel sheet database at the same time) is the next step. But pictures you want, pictures thou shalt have Mr. Johnny!

Sounds like a good weekend. Overspend on coins and miss out on
a ebay auction. Pretty typical.

The good news is there are always more coins to be found on ebay or ccf or the rest of the internet for that matter. Sincerely, John Leckrone
